Cap City Fine Diner and Bar - A Comfort Food Haven in Dublin, OH

I loved this place. I was greeted by friendly smile by the hostess McKayla who sat me immediately and gave me a great recommendation to order. In addition, my server Taylor was fantastic, helpful, personable and professional. The place is astetically very cool and fun....a bit of a throwback in time with an excellentvibe....it is also very clean and well organized. They also play great music! The Turkey Club Sandwich was absolutely delicious and huge! This place is definitely worth checking out. It is a winner all around!

This was not our first time at this location, but it was our first time for the weekend brunch. It did not disappoint. We ordered take out and from the time we walked in, no fewer than 4 employees greeted us with a smile on their face to ensure we were being assisted. This type of customer service was very refreshing and hard to find anymore. Now to the brunch. The blueberry pancake fritters with the blueberry compote were incredibly delicious, the eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes was cooked to perfection, and the banana foster french toast with pecans and streusel topping was amazing. All of the food was outstanding. If you're looking for a scrumptious brunch with terrific customer service, this is the place. We will definitely be back.

Cap City Diner is a retro-cool diner setting with great spins on classic American dishes. It's an elevated, modern take on a classic American diner. It blends the comfortable, welcoming atmosphere of a traditional diner with a more contemporary and polished style. It leaves you with a comforted feel like you just left Grandma's kitchen table. A must is the blue cheese chips appetizer, they never disappoint and are so good. All of the food looks great, I got a Black Bean burger with fries and a Blue moon. My sister got the fish sandwich with sweet potato fries and said it was great! Explore the menu but please get the Blue cheese chips! We walked in at 8:30p and got a seat right away it was a little loud but we could still talk and hear the waitress. She was great and did a fantastic job.

Service was excellent, thank you Carlos! We enjoyed a delicious dinner in a wonderful diner style restaurant. We had milk shakes, burgers, grilled cheese and calamari. All of the food was delicious!! The grilled cheese…l o v e d it!! Yum. Definitely will be back.

Walked in at about 5:30 on a Thurs. Asked for table for two and was told a 2hr wait. We sat at the bar and it was fine but, of course, watched as about only half the place filled up. Could have easily accommodated 2 at that time. Claimed a huge party coming in but never saw them. Other than that all food tasted great as always and the dark comfy atmosphere makes it a great winter's evening dinner. Bar seemed just a bit confused with multiple people helping multiple patrons but without much communication between the two so some drinks got messed up. Not a big deal but better communication behind the bar would solve this. Great salads but need just a bit more dressing. Will definitely be back for the food. Always reliable.

Honestly, I don't think I could say enough about the service, our waiter, which his name eludes me a spanish gentleman, absolutely magnificent. My boyfriend was feeling a little sleepy after our sandbox v.R date and really wanted a red bull, they went to a sister restaurant nearby and got him.Two of them! Couldn't believe it. Now on to the food, the meals were huge, very flavorful. And definitely delicious. Additionally, we did enjoy our drinks.Probably a little too much that we massively overtipped accidentally, the restaurant noticed this and called me Immediately thank god... It was definitely worth it for the servers.Attentiveness, to our needs, however, they were very honest And you don't find that type of service. They could have just let that accidentally be which would totally have been our fault. The wait was kind of long, and they were kind of busy, I would definitely recommend if you're in the area, and I do agree that there are several other items that I would like to try! Overall the service made this experience.

I’ve always avoided this place because I’ve always heard it’s diner food at not diner food prices but this is one of the most pleasantly surprising restaurant experiences I’ve had. The atmosphere is great, big booths, nice bar, dim lights, cozy and not too open floor plan. The daytime bartender Chris is a rockstar. Never a dull moment and from the looks of it, he’s not capable of being in a bad mood, definitely added 100+ positivity points to the experience. The food is what I was most worried about because I’m really not a fan of American diner food, but this was a non issue. Yeah they have staples like shoestring fries, burgers, chicken pot pie, and meatloaf, but they also have a wide array of innovative and with-the-times dishes that make the menu palatable to almost anyone. Typical yet limited Cameron Mitchell bar menu, wide array of liquor, decent amount of wine, crafty yet palatable cocktails. Anyways this place went from a steer clear in my mind to a looking forward to going back, so definitely 5 stars!

Excellent food and served quickly. I got the meatloaf today which is a known favorite here. It did not disappoint. The typical meal is about $25 but I did take advantage of happy hour and ordered the blue cheese, potato chips appetizer and upgraded to a salad for a side.
